COPPERTOWN
DISTILLERY

COMING SOON.

Built from our copper mugs,
we’ve built this still upon the same foundation. You can plan the best party in the world, but it takes people to make it great. In the spirit of gathering, grab a bottle and surround it with people; the rest will all fall right into place. Cheers to good times.

SPIRITS FOR MIXING. SPIRITS FOR SIPPING. SPIRITS FOR SHARING.

A bottle passed, a cocktail shared. Gathering is the essence of the spirit. Sharing time, sharing space, sharing stories; it’s the moments shared that build the best memories. Light a fire. Dust off the banquet table. Pop a bottle and get down to the good stuff. Cheers to friends, family, and always the good times.

The short & simple of it is: that’s where we live. It’s where we were born & raised and it’s where we’ve chosen to raise our own.
The longer story starts with our Handlebend copper mugs. We found ourselves in a predicament as we renovated a historic building on main-street of our hometown. It was to become our coppershop, as well as a taproom; a watering hole for our local community - to be run by a neighboring brewery. The proverbial tablecloth was yanked from beneath the place settings on those plans, mere weeks before our grand opening. I can still remember the deer in the headlights feeling. We decided to roll our sleeves up and make it work. All these years later and we’ve served mules in our hand-built mugs to thousands of people a year. It was, quite simply, a blessing in disguise.
Midwest Mules is a tip of the hat to the midwestern mindset; make a decision and then work-like-hell to make it become the right decision. They also happen to be some pretty darn good mules.
Don’t just take our word for it: grab a bottle & a friend, and sip for yourself.

Good friends & old times. The best days are the ones where you laugh until you hurt. Nights out recounting old stories become the memories you’ll remember another day with laughter, good people, and good times.
Rabbit Ears comes from an old time of our own. It stems from those good times, the inside jokes and memories we can’t help but relive time, and time-again.
Grab a bottle and raise your Rabbit Ears with your people. Make a memory. Cheers to the good times and to those who you spend them with.

They’re the ones that shape us. Nobody ever got tougher in the easy times.
There’s an old adage that goes “anything worth doing is worth doing right”. We think the kinds of things worth doing right, happen to be the kinds of things that only get better with age. As time goes by, the efforts continue. Hard work, stacked over time, cannot result in anything but “better”.
Enjoy the good times. Celebrate them when they are right there in front of you and understand that they won’t last. Nothing ever does and that’s just fine…don’t lean away from the hard times - embrace them. Lean into the hard times and keep an eye on the silver linings as they slowly become apparent. You’ll be better on the backside. You can believe in that.
Nothing that’s “worth it” ever came easy, and anyone can toast to the good times. So cheers to the Hard Times; they're the ones that make everything worth it.
